Our Priorities
Education
We create trainings for all types of government workers who interact with dads like you. We want them to be aware and understanding of fathers’ needs and concerns.
Permanence
There is no state agency yet that serves the interests of fathers, so we plan to continually advocate for dads at the top of California’s government.
System Support for Dads
We work with social service agencies to fix unfair policies that get in the way of fathers successfully raising their kids.
Partnerships
We make it easier for dads to get the services they need to help them become better fathers and co-parents.
Our Methods
Outreach
We help fathers help themselves by connecting men with service providers sensitive to their needs, who can deliver resources for them and their families.
Inclusivity
Cultural assumptions and stereotypes create barriers for many dads trying to successfully navigate fatherhood. Our work fosters an inclusive environment for all fathers.
Data
The value of a father’s presence in the lives of his children is well documented, and we are ensuring a more prominent role for this crucial information in the state-level conversation.
